I dreamed of living in the Pacific Northwest for a long time.
In that dream, I enjoyed the mountains and pine trees, the ocean and alpine lake views.
But I had no idea that there is such a thing as “Moss Season.”
During March, as the weather warms and the daily sunlight increases, but before the leaves prevent the light from reaching the rocks and tree trunks, moss finds its optimal growing conditions.
And I am finding it surprisingly beautiful.
I love it when what we dream comes into reality in ways that are even better than we could imagine.
No matter how long you have dreamed of what you want, it will always be limited by your current perspective.
So, while you imagine every detail just as you would like to create it, I encourage you to leave a little room for something better than you can imagine.
Let your dream be a starting point, rather than a finished product.
Allow yourself to be surprised at how easy it can be.
Allow yourself to be surprised by who you meet or wants to join you.
Allow yourself to be surprised at how beautiful, or fun, or profitable it can be.
Allow yourself to be surprised by ….
